I like Andy Samberg, lately he’s been my favourite part of SNL. But I can’t stand one of the the VMA commercials MTV is running currently. It’s called “The One Who Dared to Leave”.
I don’t really think people in concentration camps had the choice to just leave.
This commercial is not funny. Not even a little bit, not even at all. Yet, I find myself nearly alone on the subject. When you search “The One Who Dared To Leave” on Google, nothing but positive reviews pop up. This one little thread on MTV’s site is the only place on the net I could find people who also found this distasteful. I guess I’m becoming a wimp? I just don’t find it funny.
